BLP Path Rocks!

Mon, 20th Dec 2021

We have created our own Better Lives path of kindness in Castle Douglas!

During Bridge 2 Creative sessions in Castle Douglas, our young people have been hard at work painting stones to create our own spot of kindness on Castle Douglas’ Lover’s Walk, around Carlingwark loch. The young people have created a wonderful selection of stones with lovely illustrations and messages of support.

This project was inspired by the Glentrool Path of Kindness, a wonderful community hiking trail in Glentrool that encourages members of the community to leave their own decorated stones. Our young people are already continuing to add to the path as they have been creating Christmas-inspired rocks for the festive season.

We encourage members of the community to take any stones they particularly like but ask if you do replace the stone with the one you have decorated yourself.

We have decided to call it BLP Path Rocks! So please take a stroll to have a look at our rocks and if you take any pictures please share them with us by posting a picture with the hashtag #BLPPathRocks!

Our Bridge 2 Creative sessions are supported by Creative Communities, Inspiring Scotland.
