BLP Scrapbook!
Thu, 1st Dec 2022Early in November, Better Lives Partnership attended the Children in Scotland Annual Conference 2022 in Edinburgh. We had an exhibition stall where we met lots of wonderful people, and we also hosted our very own workshop. We led the session “The Bridge to Employment Programme (B2E): reflections from autistic young people in Dumfries and Galloway”, it was streamed live to online attendees. The workshop was a huge success and everyone who attended loved hearing Chris and Alistair’s stories.
The #CiSA22 conference is the flagship learning and networking event for the children’s sector and it’s the first time that CiS have been able to gather organisations working with and for young people back in a live conference setting since before the pandemic.
As part of our participation in the conference, we delivered scrapbooks that contained the reflections from the young people from our sites. Below you will find an online version:
