BLP Team Comes Together!

Wed, 16th Feb 2022

This week we brought all our team together from all our sites across Dumfries and Galloway for a day of workshops!

Andy Margerison, Chair of the Board, took the lead on our day of workshops with all our team and members of the board. This was a great opportunity for the team to get together and reflect on our Bridge 2 Employment project and share thoughts and experiences with the rest of the team. The success of the day has encouraged us to host more days for our team to come together and we look forward to hosting more continual professional development days in the future.

Carolyn Kennedy, Better Lives Partnership’s Chief Executive Officer, said: ‘There was a real buzz in the room when Team BLP came together in Castle Douglas Community Centre for a Full Staff Meeting yesterday.  BLP has come so far in 5 years, and it was a pleasure to have everyone together from each of our 3 sites to meet, share, celebrate and discuss.  This will be a regular event now in our staff continuing professional development calendar.’

We would like to say a huge thank you to Andy Margerison for leading the meeting and board members Caroline Robertson, Stewart Biggar and Iain McDonald for taking the time to join us.
