Staff Training Day with BLP

Thu, 13th Oct 2022

On Friday all the BLP staff, Castle Douglas and Dumfries and Stranraer, met up at the Stranraer site for a meeting and training day.

It was so great to see everyone together in one place!

From 10am to 2pm, staff members from all three sites, new and old, gathered at the Stranraer Campus of the Dumfries & Galloway College, in the BLP workroom, for a fantastic training day. The staff were taken on a tour of the Better Lives site, shown all the work #TeamStranraer had gotten up to, and were introduced to the young people who attend the Stranraer Better Lives Partnership. The staff also explored the organization layout and updates, discussed their practice and potential changes, and went over key information about ASDAN and YPG. It was a very busy day, but thankfully we had the energy to get through thanks to the amazing lunch prepared for us.

It was a fantastic day and we can’t wait to meet up again.

Did you know what #TeamStranraer has their own Facebook page now? Check it out at the link below:
