Stranraer FC’s Jamie Hamill

Tue, 14th Sep 2021

Last week Cameron went to Stranraer Football stadium to complete an interview as part of his Coursework.

Cameron and Jamie Hamil.

Jamie Hamill, Stranraer FC’s Manager, very kindly took the time to speak to Cameron as part of his Football ASDAN. As a former Kilmarnock player and having had a career spanning more than 400 games Jamie joined Stranraer as a defender in 2017.

In June 2021 Jamie took the top job of Manager in Stranraer, after more than 100 appearances on the pitch.  Jamie answered all Cameron’s questions about Jamie’s football career, and they also spoke about what it took to get to where he is today.

In their interview, Jamie said: “Never let anything affect how you set your daily goals”.

We would like to thank Jamie for taking the time to speak with Cameron and answer his questions and to Stranraer Football Club for letting us come to the Stadium. We wish them the best of luck with their future matches, we are sure we will try and attend a game soon!
