Stranraer receives Santa Float Donation!

Mon, 13th Feb 2023

#TeamStranraer has received a generous donation of £250 from the Stranraer Santa float!

Stranraer Santa float is an amazing local fundraiser which is put on each year by Stranraer YMCA and The Stranraer and Rhins Young Farmer Club. Santa’s tractor tour of the local area raised an incredible £8,300 which was donated to 29 organisations around Stranraer.

This is the Stranraer and Rhins Young Farmer Club’s second donation to Better Lives Partnership Stranraer in the last few months. After their incredibly successful Tractor run, they raised a total of £1000 and gave £500 to #TeamStranraer and Thorney Croft Care home.

We are overwhelemed to have recieved such generous donations and feel so proud to be part of such a wonderful community. Amazing work from both teams who have put in so much effort for their fundraising.
