5 Years of BLP!
Tue, 1st Jun 2021It has been half a decade of Better Lives Partnership (BLP)!
5 years ago today, Better Lives Partnership became a registered SCIO, with the aim of delivering opportunities to support young people with Autism and additional barriers in Dumfries and Galloway.
Our pilot Bridge to Employment (B2E) Programme was launched in September 2017 with 5 young people and 5 members of staff. Since then, we have opened a second location in Stranraer for young people in Wigtownshire and have started getting ready for our THIRD model in Dumfries which opens in August.
To date, we have supported 57 young people to transition to their ‘next steps’ and look forward to welcoming more young people in Dumfries, Castle Douglas and Stranraer. We would like to say a huge thank you to our amazing team, our wonderful young people and to everyone who has supported BLP over the past 5 years.
