Locations

With work rooms situated in Stranraer and Dumfries, Better Lives Partnership (BLP) is available to young people across Dumfries and Galloway. While both locations have their own character, they follow the same basic principles of BLP.

Our programme is aimed at young people aged 16 to 25 who are autistic or have similar support needs that prevent them from accessing post-school options. The aim of BLP is always to use a person-centered approach to develop unique opportunities for each young person that allows them to develop personal positive goals and achieve them! For young people on our Bridge 2 Employment programme these positive outcomes incorporate one or all of the following: employability skills, work experience, and social enterprise.

Stranraer

#TeamStranraer is located in the Stranraer Campus of Dumfries and Galloway College and is heavily involved in their local community. They offer a wide range of opportunities to young people in Wigtownshire and are a warm and welcoming team!

Dumfries

Our third location opened in September 2021 and is located on the grounds of The Crichton. With great links with the college, our workroom is in the perfect spot to support young people from all around the Nithsdale and Annandale area!

Bridge 2 Employment

Our flagship project Bridge 2 Employment aims to provide young people with support and training in work skills, support for volunteering and work placements.
