The month of December was a busy one for Castle Douglas Hub. The young people completed their Citizenship Module in their ASDAN Towards Independence qualification.

On Tuesday 16th December we held our Celebration Day. This was an opportunity to recognise the achievements of our young people – and there were so many- along with their families and carers. We were joined in the morning by a member of senior management and a member from the Board

of Trustees.

The young people also received gifts and cards from BLP Staff along with a bag of goodies from DGVoice containing household essentials. The morning was a huge success with lots of positive feedback. We said goodbye to our families, management and trustee and tucked into our hot lunch that we ordered in from Moore’s. The afternoon consisted of party games and listening to music.
