Random Act of Kindness Day
Sun, 19th Feb 2023This Friday our Dumfries team decided to commemorate Random Act of Kindness Day.
Each year on February 17th, National Random Acts of Kindness Day is celebrated to encourage acts of kindness. It has grown in popularity each year. The day is now celebrated by individuals, groups, and organizations nationwide. At our Dumfries site, the group has pulled together little gift bags of treats to hand out across Dumfries, and the Crichton, for people to enjoy.
We even had some kindness in return as the team at Crichton central gave us a coffee for being so nice. We also gave out flowers and took hampers of treats and clothes to Charnwood Lodge.
Such a lovely idea that certainly worked as we even received messages from folk who they were kind to saying how much they appreciated it.
