Sculptural Shapes With Bea

Tue, 20th Sep 2022

Over the past few weeks, our creative practitioner Bea has led sessions with our Castle Douglas team, helping them to create their own sculptural shapes.

With air-hardening clay and plaster bandages layered upon everyday household objects such as a plastic bucket and spade, rolling pins, bottles, and a coat hanger, the young people got to work creating their very own works of art.

As the weeks went by, the young people began to paint their sculptures and create some beautiful works of art.

By the final week, the young people had an assortment of wonderful sculptural shapes. One had created a terrifying creature, another had made a colourful mask, one had made the logo for My Chemical Romance, and another had crafted a mighty bamboo battle-axe.

Fantastic work everyone!

Can you guess who is who?
