Third Week of the Summer Scheme in Dumfries

Tue, 2nd Aug 2022

The third and final week of the Summer Scheme for the Dumfries team has come to fantastic end!

Golf and Snooker!

On Monday, the Dumfries team took out their clubs and played some Crazy Golf in Dock Park and then we went out for a game of Snookers. It was great fun going head-to-head and seeing who was a master of the pool cue. We can’t wait to go again!

Glasgow Trip!

To round off their Summer Scheme, the Dumfries team decided to go on a day out into the great Scottish city of Glasgow!

We went to Buck’s Bar for a lovely meal and drinks before heading into R-CADE, the brilliant retro gaming centre. After a good hour of gaming fun, we went on a nice shopping spree. We used our bus passes for free travel across the city which was extremely helpful. We are absolutely going to go again. The gaming café was so fun, the young people had a great time beating the staff at all the games!

What a fun and successful Summer Scheme for Dumfries! Here’s to the new term!
