Valentines Day Competition
Wed, 22nd Feb 2023This Valentine’s day we decided to mark the occasion with a little inter-site competition!
We set each of the sites a Valentine’s Day challenge to decorate a door around a Valentine’s day theme. Our young people in Stranraer, Dumfries, and Castle Douglas all worked together to design and decorate their own doors. We then posted the doors on our social media and asked our followers to vote for their favourite door!

Our followers voted for Castle Douglas as the winner and our Communications Officer baked them a special cake as a prize for their wonderful efforts. However, as all of the sites worked incredibly hard we felt each site deserved a wee treat so Dumfries and Stranraer also received a little box of chocolates to share as a “well done”.
We really enjoyed this challenge as it gave our 3 sites a way to connect, as well as some time spent being creative.
